Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin. Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.
1. Disconnect pump drive pressure sensor wiring harness (1) at the electrical connection. Remove bolt (2), the washer, and the clips that hold electronic control assembly (3) to the panel assembly. Remove pump drive pressure sensor (4) and the O-ring from the adapter. The following step is for the installation of the sensor (pump drive pressure). Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-6396 O-ring Compound to all O-ring seals prior to installation, if applicable.2. Install pump drive pressure sensor (4) and the O-ring to the adapter. Put electronic control assembly (3) in position on the panel assembly. Install bolt (2), the washer, and the clips. Connect pump drive pressure sensor wiring harness (1) to the electrical connection.
