Remove Industrial Engine Turbocharger
preparatory step: a) remove air cleaner assembly 1. Remove the exhaust elbow (5), mounting bracket (4), and coupling (8).2. Disconnect the turbocharger oil supply line (3).3. Remove the oil drain line (7).4. Remove the air outlet elbow mounting bolt. Separate the air outlet elbow (1) from the turbocharger.5. Remove the turbocharger mounting bolts and nuts (2).6. Remove turbocharger (6)-weight 50 lb. (23 kg).Install Industrial Engine Turbocharger
1. Coat the threads of turbocharger mounting bolts with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.2. Position the turbocharger in it's proper location. Install and tighten mounting bolts and nuts to 40 4 lb. ft. (18 1,8 mkg) Connect the air outlet elbow to the turbocharger.3. Install the air outlet elbow mounting bolt.4. Install the turbocharger oil drain line.5. Connect the oil supply line to turbocharger.6. Coat the seal rings on exhaust coupling with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.7. Install the turbocharger exhaust coupling, exhaust elbow, and mounting bracket.concluding step: a) install air cleaner assemblyRemove Marine Engine Turbocharger
preparatory steps: a) remove air cleaner assemblyb) remove turbocharger heat shield (water cooled) 1. Disconnect the turbocharger oil supply line (2).2. Remove the turbocharger oil drain line (4).3. Remove sheet metal heat shield (5) from the turbocharger.4. Remove the turbocharger air outlet pipe mounting bolt (1) and separate the pipe from the turbocharger.5. Remove the turbocharger mounting nuts (3). Remove the turbocharger-weight 50 lb. (23 kg).Install Marine Engine Turbocharger
1. Coat the turbocharger mounting stud threads with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound. Install the turbocharger and mounting nuts. Tighten the mounting nuts to 40 4 lb. ft. (18 1,8 mkg).2. Connect the turbocharger air outlet pipe. Install air outlet pipe mounting bolt.3. Install the sheet metal heat shield.4. Install the turbocharger oil drain line.5. Connect the turbocharger oil supply line.concluding step: a) install turbocharger heat shield (water cooler)
