All 1100, 3100, 3200 And 3300 Series Direct Injection EnginesA new 6V4979 Carbon Stop Seal Tool is available for installation of carbon stop seals on fuel injection nozzles. The new tool is made of nylon and can be used in more applications than the former tool.
The former 8S2252 Seal Tool does not fit the fuel nozzles used in some 3300 Series Direct Injection Engines with scroll type fuel systems.
The new 6V4979 Seal Tool fits the fuel nozzles used in all 3300 Series Direct Injection Engines. It also fits the nozzles used in the 3200 Series Engines and in earlier 1100 and 3100 Series Engines. The 6V4979 Seal Tool is easy to use. Slide a new carbon stop seal to the large end of the tool. Put the tool on the end of the nozzle, then push the seal into position on the nozzle.
