Disconnect the electrical connection (1) .
Remove three bolts (2) .
Remove transformer (3) and the O-ring. Check the O-ring for wear or damage. Replace the O-ring, if necessary.
Remove the spark plug extension (not shown).

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install the spark plug (not shown). If the threads of the spark plug are dirty, clean the threads of the spark plug. Also clean the sealing surface in the cylinder head. Remove the tube assembly in order to clean this surface.
Tighten the spark plug to a torque of 68 4 N m (50 3 lb ft). The gap for the spark plug is 0.28 0.04 mm (0.011 0.001 inch).Note: If you reuse a spark plug, always use a new gasket.
Replace the spark plug extension (not shown).

Replace the transformer (3) and the gasket.
Replace three bolts (2) .
Connect the electrical connection (1) . When you tighten the connector to the transformer, tighten the nut in the clockwise direction with Tool (A) until the nut is tight.
