Service Screen and Filters
1. Clean area thoroughly to keep dirt out of screen and filter covers and fill/vent plug.2. Relieve the internal pressure from the hydraulic tank by loosening the fill/vent plug. After the pressure is relieved, tighten the plug.Clean the Screen
1. Remove bolts (1), washers (2) and cover (3). Do not allow spring (4) to fall into the tank.2. Remove spring (4) and screen (5).3. Wash screen in clean nonflammable solvent and allow to dry. Inspect and replace it if it is damaged. 4. Inspect O-ring seals (6) and (7) and replace them if they are worn or damaged.5. Perform Steps 1 and 2 in reverse order for installation procedure. During installation, make sure O-ring seals and spring are properly positioned.Change the Return Filter
1. Remove bolts (1), washers (2) and cover (3).2. Remove spring (4), valve (5) and element (6) from the tank. 3. Inspect O-ring seal (7) and replace it if it is worn or damaged.4. Perform Steps 1 and 2 in reverse order for installation procedure.Change the Pilot Filter
1. Open the access door on the right side of the machine. 2. Clean the area to keep dirt out of the filter base.3. Remove the used element from filter base. This is a cartridge type element. It cannot be reused.4. Clean the filter base.5. Coat the seal of a new filter with clean hydraulic oil and install it in the filter base. Tighten the filter hand tight.6. Close the access door and drive the machine slowly for 10 to 15 minutes while moving each cylinder evenly through several cycles. 7. Return the machine to the position shown and check for oil leaks.8. Stop the engine. 9. Maintain the oil level in the low temperature range for a cold machine and in the high temperature range for a machine at normal operating temperature.10. Slowly loosen the fill plug to relieve any pressure and remove it to add oil if necessary.11. Clean and install the fill plug.Fuel System
Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.
Clean the Primary Filter Element
1. Unlatch and raise the engine hood. 2. Loosen bolt (1) on filter base (2).3. Remove case (3) and element (4) from filter base (2).4. Wash case (3) and element (4) in clean, nonflammable solvent and dry.5. Inspect the condition of element (4) and replace it if it is damaged or worn.6. Clean filter base (2).7. Install element (4) and case (3) to filter base (2).8. Tighten bolt (1).9. Refer to Priming the Fuel System in the Every 250 Service Hours or Monthly section.10. Close and latch the engine hood.Fuel Tank Cap and Fill Screen

1. Remove the cap and strainer. 2. Inspect the cap. Replace the cap if it is damaged. 3. Wash the strainer in a clean, nonflammable solvent and dry. 4. Install the strainer.5. Put a light coating
