1. Install the push rods (2).2. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on threads of rocker shaft bolts. 3. Put the rocker shaft (1) in position on the engine. Install the bolts and washers. Tighten all the bolts 3, 4, 5 and 6 in number sequence to a torque of 115 lb.ft. (155 N m). Tighten all the bolts again in number sequence to a torque of 175 5 lb.ft. (240 7 N m). Last, tighten again (hand turn only) in number sequence to a torque of 175 5 lb.ft. (240 7 N m).4. Make adjustments until the intake valve clearance is .015 in. (0.38 mm) and exhaust valve clearance is .025 in. (0.64 mm).end by: a) install valve coverDisassemble Rocker Shaft
start by: a) remove rocker shaft and push rods 1. Remove ring, washer and spring (1).2. Remove rocker (2), bracket (3), rocker (4), washer (5) and spring (6).3. Disassemble remainder of rocker shaft in the same way.4. Remove bearings from rocker arms with tooling (A).Assemble Rocker Shaft
