Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting strap and a hoist to transmission hydraulic control valve (3). Place the transmission hydraulic control valve in position in the transmission.
Install four bolts (1) and the washers that hold the transmission hydraulic control valve in position. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 48 4 N m (35 3 lb ft).
Connect wiring harness (2) .

Install the O-ring seals on two sleeves (4) .
Put clean oil on the O-ring seals. Install the two sleeves through the transmission case and into the transmission hydraulic control valve.
Install the bolts and the washers that hold the sleeves into the transmission.

Install the O-ring seals into manifold (7). Place the manifold in position on the transmission. Install the bolts and the washers that hold the manifold in position.
Install the gasket and cover assembly (5). Install the bolts and washers (6) that hold the cover in position.End By: Install the transfer gears. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission to Transfer Gears - Connect".
