Machine location of lubrication fittings in the articulation joint on the front frame.
The bearings of the head ends of the steering cylinders are lubricated remotely through fittings that are located in the articulation joint on the front frame of the machine. Access these fittings from the right-hand side of the machine.

(1) Lubrication fitting for head end of left-hand steering cylinder
(2) Lubrication fitting for head end of right-hand steering cylinder Wipe off all fittings before any lubricant is applied. Apply lubricant through the two fittings identified in illustration 2 in order to lubricate the head ends of the left-hand and right-hand steering cylinders.

(3) Lubrication fitting on rod end of left-hand steering cylinder
(4) Rod end of right-hand steering cylinder (lubrication fitting not visible) The rod ends of the steering cylinders are lubricated by standard lubrication fittings that are located on the ends of the cylinders. Apply lubricant through fitting (3) for the bearing on the rod end of the left-hand steering cylinder. Apply lubricant through the fitting that is present, but not visible, for the bearing on rod end of right-hand steering cylinder (4).Apply lubricant through all four fittings in order to lubricate the steering cylinders.
