Pressure Reducing Valve Location
(2) Pressure reducing valve.
Pressure Reducing Valve
(3) Pressure reducing valve. (4) Adjusting screw (internal).7. Using 8 mm (.32 in) Allen wrench, turn adjusting screw (4) inside valve (3) clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to decrease pressure.8. Repeat step 2.9. If pressure reading is correct, stop the engine. Remove the test equipment from pressure tap (1).10. If pressure reading is not correct stop the engine, repeat steps 4 through 8.Pressure Control And Selector Valve
Make reference to on first page of Hydraulic System Testing And Adjusting section.
Right Side Of Cab
(1) Pilot hose to hydraulic lockout valve.
Pressure Control And Selector Valve Location
(2) Pressure control and selector valve.1. Release the pressure in the pilot oil system. Move the control valves to all positions to release any pressure in the implement pilot circuits.2. Carefully loosen the hydraulic tank fill cap to release any pressure in the tank. Tighten the cap.3. Disconnect hose (1) from the valve.4. Install a 8T-8902 Swivel Tee between the hose and valve. Install a 6V-3965 Nipple in the tee.5. Attach the correct hose and pressure gauge to pressure tap (1).6. Start and run the engine at high idle rpm. Raise the temperature of the hydraulic oil to the normal operating temperature.7. Raise the blade to the maximum height.8. Stop the engine.9. The pressure reading must be 2400 350 kPa (350 50 psi).
Cross Section Of Pressure Control And Selector Valve
(3) Plug. (4) Spring. (5) Spacers.10. If the pressure reading is not correct, move the control valves to all positions to release any pressure in the implement pilot circuits.11. Carefully loosen the hydraulic tank fill cap to release any pressure in the tank. Tighten the cap.12. Remove plug (3) from the valve. Add spacers (5), located between the plug and spring (4), to increase pressure reading. Remove spacers to decrease the pressure reading.13. Install plug (3). Repeat step 2.14. If the pressure reading is correct, move the control valves to all positions to release any pressure in the implement pilot circuits.15. Carefully loosen the hydraulic tank fill cap to release any pressure in the tank. Tighten the cap.16. Remove the test equipment.Implement System Pressure Relief Valve
Make reference to on first page of Hydraulic System Testing And Adjusting section.
Implement Control Valve
(1) Pressure tap. (2) Implement relief valve.
Implement Relief Valve
(3) Locknut. (4) Adjusting plunger. (5) Cap.1. Attach the correct hose and pressure gauge to pressure tap (1).2. Start the engine and raise the blade to the top of the blade's travel.3. Increase the engine speed to high idle rpm. Move the control lever to the RAISE position and look at the test gauge.4. The pressure setting of implement relief valve (2) should be 15 500 350 kPa (2250 50 psi). Do not keep the control lever in the RAISE position, at the relief valve setting, more than 5 seconds.5. If the opening pressure of the relief valve is not to specification it will be necessary to adjust the valve.6. Lower the bucket to the ground and
