Position the suitable metal stands. Use two cranes to lift the 793F chassis from the cribbing . The chassis weighs approximately 47400 kg (104500 lb). Carefully lower the 793F chassis onto the suitable metal stands. Once the rear axle housing installation is completed, move the rear metal support stand under the rear axle. Place the metal support stands under the flat surfaces on either side of the bottom of the rear axle housing. Refer to Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU8406, Jacking Locations. The location of the front stand shown above is the only approved support location for an assembled truck and can be used until assembly is complete.Remove the Eyes from the Frame

Do not grind through the weld or the parent material of the frame.
Use a torch in order to remove the four eyes from the frame. Leave the weld and the parent material to dimension (A).
Clean all the areas that were affected in Step 1. Paint the areas in order to inhibit rust.Flow Chart
