Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fuel pressure control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Pressure Control Valve - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "General Information (Reference Material)" for more information.

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Loosen the locknut and remove setscrew (6) from plate (5) .
Remove the bolts and plate (5) from body (1) .
Remove retainer (4), spring (3), and valve (2) from body (1) .
Remove the O-ring seal from retainer (4) .
Start By:
Remove the fuel pressure control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Pressure Control Valve - Remove".
