If the machine is equipped with the 11 wheel option, remove the rear outside wheel assembly on the right side of the machine. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual for the correct procedure.

Remove tee (9) from the right propel motor (10).

Connect hose assembly (E) to on the inlet side of flow meter (B) to fitting (11) on propel motor (10).
Connect hose assembly (E) on the outlet side of flow meter (B) to tee (9).

Move engine start switch (3) into the ON position. When the "Wait to start engine" message disappears from display (12), move the engine start switch to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on display (12). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches a minimum of 45 °C (113 °F).
Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.

Use gear increase switch (13) to select "High" speed.Note: Two things indicate when the machine is in high speed. First, "High" will appear on the display. Second, three LED's next to gear select increase switch (13) will be illuminated.Note: Set automatic speed control to 100% as indicated on display (12).
If necessary, use the "Automatic Speed Control" switch (14) to set the speed control command to 100% as indicated on the display.
Slowly move propel lever (1) forward.
Record the reading on Tool (B). The case drain flow should be 5 L/min (1.3 US gpm) to 9 L/min (2.4 US gpm). If the case drain flow is less than 5 L/min (1.3 US gpm) check the flushing valve. If the case drain flow is greater than 5 L/min (1.3 US gpm) find the source of leakage.
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
After the engine has operated at low idle for 5 minutes, move engine start switch (3) to the OFF position.
Remove the tooling from the right propel motor.
Reconnect tee (9) to fitting (11) on right propel motor (10).
If necessary, install the rear outside wheel assembly on the right side of the machine. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual for the correct procedure.

Remove the two center wheel assemblies from the machine. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual for the correct procedure.

Disconnect the hose assembly (16) from fitting (15) on propel motor (17).

Connect hose assembly (N) on the inlet side of flow meter (H) to fitting (15).
Connect hose assembly (L) on the outlet side of flow meter (H) to hose assembly (16).
Move engine start switch (3) into the ON position. When the "Wait to start engine" message disappears from display (12), move the engine start switch to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes.
