In order to return to the "Setup Menu - Configuration" dialog, press the escape key.Sky Plot
The "Sky Plot" dialog provides real-time GPS satellite constellation information that is an aid in system troubleshooting.Use the "Sky Plot" dialog in order to perform the following:
View current satellite constellations.
Accept data from GLONASS satellites.Perform the following steps in order to access the "Sky Plot" dialog.
Press the menu key. The "Setup Menu - Configuration" dialog will appear.
Use the arrow keys in order to highlight "Diagnostics". Press the "Ok" key. The "Diagnostics" dialog will appear.
Press the "GPS" soft key. The "Diagnostics - GPS" dialog will appear.

Press the "Sky Plot" soft key. The "Sky Plot" dialog will appear with a "Loading" message. Refer to Illustration 4. Note: If the system does not receive the GNSS data within 10 seconds of the request, a "Configuration Error" dialog will appear. Refer to Illustration 5.

The "Sky Plot" dialog will appear once the GNSS data has loaded. Refer to Illustration 6.

Data Field in the "Sky Plot" Dialog
Field Description
"Time" The time frame for the displayed satellite constellation information.
"Actual SVs" The number of satellites the system is using, based on the selected time frame.
"Actual PDOP" The PDOP of the solution.
"Elevation mask" The current elevation mask that is set in the GNSS configuration.
"GLONASS" Enabled, if the system is using GLONASS satellites. Sky Plot View
The left side of the "Sky Plot" dialog shows a plan view of the current satellite constellation. The section below describes the symbols that may appear in the satellite constellation.
A GNSS satellite that the system is tracking and using in the position solution. The satellites identifier is displayed next to the satellites symbol.
A GNSS satellite that the system is tracking but not using in the position solution. The satellites identifier is displayed next to the satellites symbol.
A satellite that is currently below the elevation mask. The satellites identifier is displayed next to the satellites symbol.
A GLONASS satellite that the system is tracking and using in the position solution. The satellites identifier is displayed, prefixed with an "R", next to the satellites symbol.
A GLONASS satellite that the system is tracking but not using in the position solution. The satellites identifier is displayed, prefixed with an "R", next to the satellites symbol.
A GLONASS satellite that is currently below the elevation mask. The satellites identifier is displayed, prefixed with an "R", next to the satellites symbol.The plan dialog also displays the following:
An inner circle, which represents the elevation mask
A "Psuedorandom" number (PRN). Numbers that are preceded by an "R" indicate GLONASS satellites. Numbers that are not proceeded by a "R" are GNSS satellitesNote: The system does not use data from unsound satellites nor does the system display the position of the unsound satellites in the "Sky Plot" dialog.Editing the Sky Plot settings
