(3)Pump Drive Oil
Measure the Oil Level
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Never start the machine, if the oil is not between the ADD and FULL marks.
1. Open the right side access door. 2. Remove the oil fill cap. 3. Maintain the oil between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick.4. If necessary, add oil, through the oil fill tube.5. Reinstall the dipstick and fill cap.6. Close the access door.(4)Engine Coolant Level
Look at the Coolant Level
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure.Steam can cause personal injury.Check the coolant level ONLY when the engine is stopped and the radiator fill cap is cool enough to touch with your hand.Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.Cooling System Conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
Never start the machine, if the coolant is not visible in the radiator.
1. Open the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure. Inspect the condition of the cap gasket. Replace the cap gasket if necessary. 2. Maintain the engine coolant level above the low level plate. 3. Install the radiator cap.4. Inspect for leaks, damaged hoses, or plugged radiator core.(5)Hydraulic System
Look at the Oil Level
Hot oil can cause burns.At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Remove the fill cap ONLY when the engine is stopped and the cap is cool enough to touch with your hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.
Never start the machine, if the oil is not between the ADD and FULL marks in the sight glass.
1. Maintain the oil between the ADD and FULL marks in the sight gauge. 2. If necessary to add oil, remove the oil fill cap. Add oil through fill tube.(6)Fuel Tank
Pump Condensate and Sediment from the Fuel Tank1. Open the right side access door. 2. Place the free end of the hose in suitable container. 3. Open the fuel drain valve. 4. Turn the pump plunger knob to the left (counterclockwise) to unlock the plunger.5. Operate the pump until the fuel flows clear.6. Lock the pump plunger.7. Close the drain valve.8. Place the hose in its stored position.(7)Engine Air Precleaner
Inspect Air Precleaner for Dirt Accumulation1. If dirt accumulation reaches the FULL line, empty the bowl.2. Loosen the wing nut and remove the cover.3. Remove the bowl and empty it. Clean out the bowl. 4. Replace the bowl. Replace the cover and tighten the wingnut.(8)Track
