Vibration Pump Group
(1) Vibration pump group. (2) Inlet port. (3) Solenoid control valve. (4) Dump valve. (5) Pressure relief valve. (6) Outlet port to screed. (7) Dump valve outlet port.The vibration pump is a left hand rotation, gear type, single stage hydraulic pump. Located inside the body is a drive gear, driven gear and bushings. The two gears ride in the bushings. The bushings are lubricated by the oil being pumped by the gears.The mounting flange is bolted to the auxiliary system hydraulic pump. The vibration pump is driven by the auxiliary pump. The splines on the vibration pump drive gear mesh with the splines on the auxiliary pump shaft.Also mounted in the pump body is solenoid control valve (3), pressure relief valve (5) and dump valve (4). As the pump rotates, oil from the hydraulic tank flows into inlet port (2). The rotating gears force the oil through internal passages to act against the solenoid valve, relief valve and dump valve. Then the oil flows through outlet port (6), into oil lines and on to the screed.Pressure relief valve (5) is a pilot operated, cartridge type. When system pressure exceeds 10 335 kPa (1500 psi), a spring inside the cartridge assembly is overcome and the relief valve is opened. When the relief valve opens hydraulic oil flows back to the pump inlet port.Dump valve (4) is a pilot operated relief valve that is set at a slightly lower pressure than the system relief valve. This valve has a higher flow rate than the relief valve.When the vibrator control switch is in the off position, solenoid control valve (3) is not energized. Oil flows to the dump valve before the relief valve.The pressure rise overcomes the tension of a spring inside the dump valve and the dump valve opens. When the dump valve opens it routes vibration system oil to outlet port (7). Then the oil flows to the return manifold, the return oil filter and is used as charge oil in the conveyor/auger systems.Return Oil System

(7) Oil cooler bypass manifold supply line.Hydraulic oil returning from the vibration system flows through vibrator motors return line (3) or vibration pump dump valve line (4). All vibrator return oil passes through return oil manifold (2), return oil filter supply line (5) and return oil filter (6).
