Inspect the nameplate. Replace the nameplate if the nameplate is damaged. Remove all traces of the double sided tape. Cured adhesive can remain as long as the cured adhesive is firmly attached.
Scuff the rear surface of the nameplate. Clean the rear surface with a suitable solvent.
Remove the grille from the machine by unscrewing 4 bolts.
Lay the grille on a flat surface. The recess for the nameplate should face upward. Scuff the recess. Clean the recess with a suitable solvent.
Dispense the adhesive onto a clean surface. Dispense enough adhesive in order to bond the nameplate. Quickly mix the adhesive.
Apply a generous portion of adhesive to the rear of the nameplate. Do not apply the adhesive to any adhesive that is cured.
Press the nameplate firmly onto the grille. Allow the adhesive to cure for 30 minutes. Allow more time for the adhesive to cure when the weather is cool. Perform the work in a warm shop if cool conditions exist.
Install the grille.
