Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.

Note the orientation of core (56) in Illustration 2.
Use Tooling (C), and a suitable press to install core (56).Note: Press core (56) until the fitting holes align at location (X).

Apply Tooling (A) to O-ring (54), and O-ring (55).
Install O-ring (54), and O-ring (55).

Apply Tooling (E) to the threads of fitting (52).
Install fitting (52).
Apply Tooling (A) to the ID of spool valve (53).
Install spool valve (53).

Install retainer (50), and spring (49).
Apply Tooling (B) to O-ring (51).
Install O-ring (51).

Install cover (47), and position the inlet housing in a suitable press.
Install screws (46) and tighten to a torque of 7 N m (62 lb in).
Install screws (45) and tighten to a torque of 19 N m (168 lb in)

Apply Tooling (B) to O-ring (44).
Install O-ring (44).
Install turbine housing (43).

Install filter elements (42).

Install screen (41), and retainers (40).
Tighten retainers (40) to a torque of 5
