Information:

Use the Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) Service Tool or the machine monitors to check for active diagnostic codes. If any diagnostic codes are present, refer to the appropriate diagnostic code troubleshooting procedure to correct this problem before continuing.During automatic warm-up mode, the two warm-up valves open on the ACS main control valve and the two pumps stroke up to deliver 250 L (66 US gal) per minute of flow each. For a properly operating valve, pump pressures should be around 10 MPa (1450 psi) to 15 MPa (2175 psi) with 30° C (86° F) oil. If pump pressures rise above this pressure, a warm-up valve has likely failed and is not opening. If pump pressures are above the specified range during warm-up, use the following procedure:
Check for active diagnostic codes.
Measure the current delivered to each warm-up valve with a current shunt. Measurements should be around 970mA during warm-up. If current is not being sent during warm-up, there is an issue with harness or ECM.
Replace warm-up valves. If pump pressures are below the specified range during warm-up, use the following procedure:
Verify that both pump displacements are approximately 176cc/rev when the warm-up function is active.
Perform the Troubleshooting, "Bypass Valve (ACS Valve) - Functional Test" procedure.
