Place the machine controls at the following settings:
Engine speed dial "10"
AEC switch OFF
Heavy lift switch OFF (digging mode)
Gain/Response "CAT" (normal mode)Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Performance - Test" for engine rpm settings.
Place the hydraulic activation control lever in the UNLOCKED position.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 55° 5°C (131° 9°F).
Move the joystick for the boom to the full BOOM RAISE position. Hold the joystick for the boom in this position and check the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) or (2) .
Return the joystick for the boom to the NEUTRAL position.
The pressure gauge reading should be 32000 500 kPa (4650 75 psi). If the pressure gauge reading at pressure tap (1) or (2) is not within the specification, adjust the signal relief valve.
