B - Loctite Gasket Sealant No. 2 - Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring seals.Note: Before the O-ring seals are installed, lubricate the seals with Tooling (A).

Install plug (17).Note: When plug (17) is installed, apply Tooling (B) to plug (17).
Install valve stem (13).Note: Valve stem (13) should be between .038 mm (0.0015 inch) and .050 mm (0.0020 inch) from the body.
Install spring (16).
Install O-ring seal (15).
Install nut (14).

Install lip seal (12) on head (11).
Install piston seal (10), piston seal (5), and piston (6).
Install head seal (7). Install head (11).
Install snap ring (8) of the head.
Install O-ring (9).

Install air cylinder group (4), two washers (3), and two bolts (2).Note: When air cylinder group (4) is installed, the air vent should be positioned as the air vent is shown in the photo.Note: When bolts (2) are installed, tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 10 N m (40.6 7.4 lb ft).
Install O-ring seal (1).End By:
Install the diverter valve (front brake oil cooler). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Diverter Valve (Front Brake Oil Cooler) - Install" for the correct procedure.
