1. Start the engine. Raise bowl (1) until the sliding floor is parallel to the floor. Move the sliding floor to the rear. Put Tool (A) under the bowl to hold it in position as shown. Be sure the sliding floor is still parallel to the floor. Stop the engine.2. Put wood block in front of and behind the sliding floor roller to prevent the sliding floor from moving. 3. Put a suitable floor jack in position under sliding floor link (4). Remove bolt (2) and pin (3). Move the sliding floor link free of the sliding floor. 4. Put a suitable floor jack under each side of the sliding floor. Lift the weight of the sliding floor off of the sliding floor rollers.5. Remove the bolts and sliding floor rollers from each side of the sliding floor.
Typical Example6. Lower the sliding floor down with the floor jacks until it is free of the bowl. Remove the sliding floor from under the machine. The weight of the sliding floor is 1066 kg (2350 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the sliding floor.7. Using two suitable floor jacks, put the sliding floor in position under the bowl of the machine. Raise the sliding floor into position.8. Put the sliding floor rollers in position on the sliding floor. Install the three bolts that hold each sliding floor roller in position.9. Put the pin bores of sliding floor link (4) and the sliding floor in alignment with each other. Install pin (3) that holds the link to the floor. Install bolt (2) that holds pin (3) in position.10. Remove the wood block from in front of and behind the sliding floor rollers. Remove the floor jacks from under the sliding floor. Remove Tool (A) from under the bowl. Check all clearances at the narrowest point.11. Check clearance (5) between the sliding floor roller and the side of the roller guide on the side of the bowl. The clearance must be 0.8 to 6.5 mm (.03 to .25 in). Add or remove shims between the roller brackets and the sliding floor to obtain the proper clearance. The clearance for all of the sliding floor rollers on one side of the sliding floor must be the same. The roller clearance for one side plus the roller clearance on the other side must not be more than 9.8 mm (.38 in).12. Be sure clearance (6) between the sliding floor and the bottom of the bowl is 1.8 to 7.9 mm (.07 to .31 in).13. Be sure clearance (7) between the sliding floor insert and the guide, at two points, with the floor closed, is 0.0 mm (.00 in).
