Disconnect the left brake hose assembly (21). Use Tool (D) to cap the port, and use Tool (E) to plug the hose assembly. Disconnect the right brake hose assembly (20). Use Tool (D) to cap the port, and use Tool (E) to plug the hose assembly.

Remove four bolts (22) and the hopper door (23).

Install a small piece of reflective tape on pulley (24).
Start engine. Warm hydraulic oil to 45° 5°C (113° 9°F). Use Tool (E) to verify oil temperature.
Set the throttle control lever (4) to maintain engine speed at 2000 RPM. Use Tool (F) to verify engine speed.

Examine the indicators in the center of the instrument panel. Electrical controls disabled indicator (25) should be illuminated.

Depress the electrical controls enable switch (26).

Examine the indicators in the center of the instrument panel. The electrical controls disabled indicator (25) should no longer be illuminated. The electrical controls enabled indicator (27) should be illuminated.Note: If electrical controls enabled indicator (27) is not illuminated, make sure all the control switches are in the correct positions to enable the electrical controls. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for further information.Test Procedure
