Information:

start by: a) remove vibration damperb) remove fuel tank (12G & 140G) These photographs were taken on the 14G. All pictures are typical for the 12G and the 140G. 1. Remove clips (2) and (9) that hold hose (1) for oil pressure. Disconnect hose (1) from the engine block.2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Release the pressure from the air tank. Turn the valve for fuel supply on the fuel tank to the "OFF" position.3. Remove the hose clamps that hold the hoses on each end of tube (3). Remove the bolt that holds the clamp and tube (3) to the fuel tank. Remove tube (3). Disconnect line (4) for water temperature. Disconnect wire (5) from the coolant flow switch. 4. Remove the plug from the bottom of elbow (8) and drain the coolant from the elbow. Put the plug back in position in the elbow. Remove the hose clamps and the hoses from each end of the elbow. Remove elbow (8). Remove the hose from tube (7).5. Disconnect air supply line (6) from the air compressor. Disconnect air line (10) from the air compressor governor. Disconnect wires (12) from the switch and the block. Disconnect the wires to the glow plugs.6. Disconnect air supply line (6) from the relay valve. Remove the bolt that holds the line to the transmission cooler and remove line (6). Disconnect air line (14) from the relay valve. Remove the relay valve (13) from the frame. Put it in position on the bevel gear case. Disconnect oil lines (11) for the transmission oil cooler. Remove the bolt that holds tube (7) to the flywheel housing. 7. Remove the cotter pin and the pin that hold rod (15) to lever (16). Remove bolts (18) and housing (19) from the engine block. Disconnect fuel pressure line (17). Remove the clip that holds the engine oil drain line to the bevel gear case. 8. Disconnect fuel supply line (21) from the fuel filter. Disconnect wires (22) from the starter solenoid. Disconnect air line (25) from the relay valve. Remove relay valve (24) and put it in position on the bevel gear case. 9. Fasten a hoist to tool (A). Fasten tool (A) to the lifting eyes in the cylinder head. Remove bolts (20) that hold the engine front support to the frame.10. Remove bolts (23) that hold the flywheel housing to the transmission flange.11. Lift the engine and move it forward enough to remove tube (7). Remove engine (26). Weight is 2150 lb. (960 kg). Remove the shims from under the front support. Keep the shims that are between the engine front support and the frame in their correct relationship with the engine front support for use during installation.Install Engine (14G, 12G & 140G)
1. Fasten a hoist to tool (A). Fasten tool (A) to the lifting eyes in the cylinder head of the engine. Lift the engine and put it in position in the machine. When the engine is being installed in the
