Information:

Stopping the engine immediately after it has been working under load, can result in overheating and accelerated wear of the engine components.Refer to the following procedure, to allow the engine to cool, and to prevent excessive temperatures in the turbocharger housing (if equipped), which could cause oil coking problems.
Operate the engine for five minutes at low idle with no load. Note: This allows hot areas in the engine to cool gradually. This will extend the engine life.
Move the joysticks to the NEUTRAL position.
Turn the engine start switch key to the OFF position.
Relieve the pressure in the auxiliary hydraulic system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Work Tool Coupler Operation" for details.
Ensure that the engine start switch key is in the OFF position after the pressure in the auxiliary hydraulic system has been relieved.
Cover the exhaust opening after the machine has cooled down.
