EDGE-CUTTING 8V1825 - Caterpillar

1. Turn the fuel supply valve to the "OFF" position.2. Remove two bolts (2).3. Remove fuel priming pump (1). 4. Remove fuel filter with tool (A). 5. Put identification marks on hoses (5). Disconnect hoses (5) from the filter base.6. Remove bolts (4). Remove filter base (3). 7. Remove valve (6). Remove stud (7). The following steps are for installation of the fuel priming pump and filter base.8. Put 9S3263 Thread Lock Compound on the end of stud (7) that goes into base (3). Install stud (7), and tighten it to a torque of 70 14 N m (50 10 lb.ft.).9. Install valve (6) in base.10. Put base (3) in position. Install bolts (4).11. Connect hoses (5) to filter base (3).12. Install the filter according to the instructions on the filter.13. Install priming pump (1).14. Turn the fuel supply valve to the "ON" position.
