A crack may appear in the weld of the bracket at the blade. The combination of the mass of the mast, the high center of gravity and vibrations can cause the weld to crack. The weld is insufficient for the fillet weld at the center mount. The length of the bracket of the side plate is insufficient.Solution
The brackets will be replaced if cracks in the weld are present. The new brackets will be located closer to the front of the blade. The side plates of the new brackets will be extended for additional strength.
