AP-1050 (1JG1-Up) Asphalt PaversA new gasket is now used in the end cap assembly of the propel pump (7X8051, 818659 and 818660 Pumps). The new gasket has better sealing qualities.
The new 5E8821 Gasket has the same part number as the former 5E8821 Gasket. Due to a previous change in design of the end cap, it is necessary to use a new 1G6877 Gasket on later production pumps. The new gasket is a direct replacement for the former gasket and adaptable to all earlier models. The pump date code will determine which gasket to use.
The pump date code is the first set of numbers in the serial number of the pump.Pump date code: 89-16-lower, use the 5E8821 Gasket.
Pump date code: 89-17-higher, use the 1G6877 Gasket.
