Industrial and Marine EnginesDescription of Change: A new gasket is now used in the governor and fuel injection pump group on these products. The new gasket is used between the pump housing and the fuel shutoff solenoid. With the former gasket, it was possible for water to enter the fuel injection pump housing when the engine was washed with high pressure water. This at times caused corrosion of the shutoff solenoid plunger. The new beaded gasket is an improved design. It has a layer of rubber around the opening and will make a better seal.
Adaptable As: The new 2W1706 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 4N117 Gasket in this application.
