This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3550" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3550" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The rear propel motor shafts may fail on certain CB-525 Vibratory Compactors and Albaret built CB-525 Vibratory Compactors. New 832006 Shafts need to be installed in the rear propel motors.

This is a 16-hour job.
When filing a claim for an Albaret built CB-525 Vibratory Compactor, use "99Z_____" as the Product Identification Number. Enter the complete Albaret Identification Number "834B _ _ _ _ _" in the Related S/N Field.
Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

(1-Rework Procedure)Rework Procedure
It is recommended to perform this rework in the shop, as lifting equipment is required.
1. Remove the two external rear wheels. Disconnect the two high pressure hydraulic hoses, parking brake hose, housing drain hose, and the speed hose. All hoses and the motor ports must be plugged to prevent contamination.
2. Remove twelve bolts (39) and rim flange (37). See Illustration 1.
Illustration 1. Removing motor from machine.3. Remove the nine bolts (32) holding the motor on the rear chassis. Remove the hydraulic motor.4. Place the motor on a flat horizontal surface so that the shaft is vertical.5. Remove bolts (82). Remove housing cover (71) and shaft assembly (94).
Illustration 2. Location of parts.6. Remove Circlips (77), spacer (76) and shim (75).7. With a press, separate the shaft (94) from bearing (74) being careful not to damage the bearing. The bearing must be reused.8. Disassemble bolts (93), cover (91), and seal (72).9. Install new seal (72) in cover (91). Install the cover on the housing cover using bolts (93). Tighten bolts to 9.5 N m.10. Install new seal (78) on new shaft (94) using EP1 Lithium grease.11. Heat new bearing (73) to 80°C in an oil
