The standard Cat HYDO Advanced 10 oil change interval is every 3000 service hours or 2 years.Procedure to Change the Hydraulic Oil

Remove hydraulic tank cap (4) in order to relieve pressure from the hydraulic system.

(6) Material feed charge filter
(7) Drain hose
The drain hose (7) for the hydraulic tank is located in the right side access door. Remove the plug from the drain hose, and drain the hydraulic oil into a suitable container.Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" for information on containing fluid spillage.
Remove the cover for the return filter (1). Remove the charge filter.
Remove the return filter cover (5). Remove the return filter.
Remove material feed charge filter (6).
Install the drain plug.
Install a new charge filter. Install the cover for the return filter (1).
Install a new return filter. Install the return filter cover (5).
Install a new material feed charge filter (6).
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the correct refill capacity.
Install hydraulic tank cap (4).
Start the engine. Check the hydraulic filters for leaks.Note: Check for auger rotation after starting the engine. Ensure that the auger area is clear. Hold the auger buttons to manual. If they do not operate within 30 seconds, stop the engine, and perform the bleed procedure. Refer to Special Instruction, M0072814 for the procedure to bleed the conveyor charge pump.
Stop the engine.
Repair any leaks that were found.
Maintain the oil between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on oil level gauge (3).
