Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the alternator belt. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator Belt - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Use a suitable method in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating. Remove bolts (2).
If equipped, remove crankshaft V-pulley (1).
Remove crankshaft multi V-pulley (3). Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Ensure that all components are clean and free from wear and damage. If necessary, replace any components that are free from wear and damage.

Inspect crankshaft front seal (4) for leaks. If there are any oil leaks, replace the crankshaft front seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Front Seal - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Install crankshaft multi V-pulley (3). Align the bolt holes in the crankshaft multi V-pulley with the holes in the adapter.
If equipped, install crankshaft V-pulley (2). Align the bolt holes in the crankshaft V-pulley with the holes in the adapter.
Install bolts (1) to the crankshaft pulley. Hand tighten the bolts.
Use a suitable method in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 45 N m (33 lb ft). End By:
