1. Remove control unit (1) from the panel.2. Label and disconnect the speedometer harness connector from control unit (1). Cut off the connector from the harness. Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire.3. Label and disconnect the flow readout assembly harness connector from control unit (1). Cut off the connector from the harness. Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire.4. Label and disconnect the servo valve harness connector from control unit (1). Cut off the connector from the harness. Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire.5. Label and disconnect the power harness connector from control unit (1). Cut off the connector from the harness. Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire.
Illustration 2. Control unit.6. Install connector (3) to plate (2) using screws (5), washers (6) and nuts (7).7. Install bushing (4) into plate (2).8. Loosen the nut holding the switch and fuse holder to the control unit plate. Also, loosen the four screws which hold the control box to the control panel. Slide control unit onto plate (2). Tighten the nuts and screws to hold the control unit and control box to the new plate.9. Cut off connector (8) for the speedometer and run the wires through bushing (4). Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire. Attach the wires to connector (3). See Illustration 3.10. Cut off connector (9) for the flow readout assembly and run the wires through bushing (4). Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire. Attach the wires to connector (3). See Illustration 3.11. Cut off connector (10) for the servo valve and run the wires through bushing (4). Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire. Attach the wires to connector (3). See Illustration 3.12. Cut off connector (11) for the power and run the wires through bushing (4). Strip and tin 12 mm (.5") of each wire. Attach the wires to connector (3). See Illustration 3.
