Vibratory Electrical System
(1) Vibe solenoid fuse
(2) Controls fuse
(3) Neutral fuse
(4) Propel lever
(5) Display
(6) Drum select switch
(7) Vibratory indicator relay
(8) Vibratory solenoid relay
(9) Neutral switch relay
(10) Front vibratory solenoid
(11) Rear vibratory solenoid
(12) Neutral switchWhen the engine start switch is in the ON position, the main relay is energized. In this case, power transfers to the following fuses:
Vibe solenoid fuse (1)
Controls fuse (2)
Neutral fuse (3)Power transfers from vibe solenoid fuse (1) to contact"30" of vibratory indicator relay (7) and contact"30" of neutral switch relay (9).Power transfers from controls fuse (2) to terminal"9" of display (5).Power transfers from neutral fuse (3) to contact"2" of propel lever (4) and pin"1" of neutral switch (12).Vibratory Control
The vibratory control switch on propel lever (4) is the master control switch for the vibratory system. When the switch is actuated, the coil of vibratory solenoid relay (8) is energized. If the propel system is operating in the forward or reverse range the coil of vibratory indicator relay (7) is also energized. In this case, power transfers from vibe solenoid fuse (1) across the gate of the relay. Power is transferred from contact"87" of the vibratory indicator relay to contact"30" of vibratory solenoid relay (8). When this action occurs, power from contact"87" of the vibratory solenoid relay is available to contact"2" and"5" of drum select switch (6).When front drum is selected on drum select switch (6), front vibratory solenoid (10) is energized. When both drums are selected, the front vibratory solenoid and rear vibratory solenoid (11) are both energized.Note: Single-drum machines only have a front-drum vibratory mode.
