Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the water tank assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Tank - Remove and Install".
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.

Place water tank assembly (1) on a stable work area.
Remove the screws and plate (2) .

Remove brackets (5) and the bolts from water tank assembly (1) .
Remove brackets (3) and the bolts from fuel tank (4) .

Remove the bolts, fuel sending unit (6), and the gasket from fuel tank (4) .Installation Procedure

Install the gasket, fuel sending unit (6), and the bolts to fuel tank (4) .

Install the bolts and brackets (3) to fuel tank (4) .
Install the bolts and brackets (5) to water tank assembly (1) .
