Front Outer Tire Assembly Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove weights.
Remove tire skirts.
Remove scrapers.
Raise the machine and place on suitable cribbing.

Support front inner tire assembly, as shown. Attach suitable lifting device to front outer tire assembly (1).

Disconnect air line (2) from valve stem and valve.

Remove bolts (3). There are ten bolts in total. Remove front outer tire assembly (1). Front Outer Tire Assembly Installation Procedure
Install front outer tire assembly (1) in the reverse order of removal.
Ensure front outer tire assembly (1) is centered on hub and tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 460 60 N m (339 44 lb ft). Front Inner Tire Assembly Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove front outer tire assembly.

Attach suitable lifting device to front inner tire assembly (4), as shown.

Disconnect tie rod (5) from strut assembly (6) and position aside. Disconnect hose assembly (7).

Remove air line (10) from valve stem and valve (9) from union at hub. Remove bolts (8) (not shown). There are ten bolts in total.

Remove front inner tire assembly (4) from hub. Position strut assembly (6) as shown and remove front inner tire assembly (4). Front Inner Tire Assembly Installation Procedure
Install front inner tire assembly (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Ensure front inner tire assembly (4) is centered on hub and tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 460 60 N m (339 44 lb ft)
Tighten tie rod nut (5) to a torque of 644 25 N m (475 18 lb ft), then continue to tighten nut until cotter pin can be inserted through bolt and nut.
