Table 1 lists the GPS status messages.
Table 1
GPS Status Message     Problem     Solution
Check Machine Radio     The system cannot communicate with the data radio on the machine.     Check that power is being supplied to the radio. Check the cable to the radio.
Direction Unknown     The machine orientation needs to be initialized.     Drive the machine in a forward direction.
Invalid GPS Configuration     There is a problem with a GPS receiver output configuration. The coordinate system may be missing from the GPS receiver configuration.
There is GPS data but the data is in the wrong format, or the baud rate is incorrect.     Load a design. Doing so will send a valid GPS configuration file to the GPS receivers. Alternatively, contact your supervisor.
V.Low Accuracy (GPS)     The AccuGrade System is receiving autonomous GPS positions from the receiver.     Check the data radio and base station.
Low Accuracy (GPS)     The GPS error estimate has exceeded the limit set by the GPS Accuracy Mode.     Change the GPS Accuracy Mode.
Check the data radio and the radio cable.
Ask your site manager to adjust the accuracy limits.
Low Accuracy (Move)     The machine has not travelled far enough in its current direction to determine machine slope.     Drive the machine slowly in a forward direction.
No GPS Receiver Data     There has been no GPS data coming from the GPS receiver for at least 1.5 seconds.
This could be caused by:
a problem with a GPS receiver configuration
a problem with the GPS receiver itself
a cabling fault     Check the cable, power, and connections. Check the physical condition of the GPS receivers.
Turn off the Display and then turn the Display back on.
If problems continue, contact your supervisor.
Old Position     A position is not being generated by the GPS receiver     Check the GPS receivers and cables.    General Warning Messages
