Illustration 1. 5P2420 Lubrication and Testing Group.
Illustration 2. Dimensions to drill hole in drum cover.The relief valve can be installed on earlier lubrication and testing groups that did not have a relief valve. A 5P6578 Valve Assembly and a 5P6559 Block are needed for installation of the valve.
Installation:
1. Remove the junction block from the lubrication and testing group.2. Remove the pump assembly and drum cover from the drum. Drill a hole in the drum cover as shown in Illustration 2. Install the pump assembly and drum cover to the drum.3. Install the 5P6578 Valve Assembly in hole A (Illustration 3) of the 5P6559 Block.
Illustration 3. New valve assembly and block.4. Install the 5P6578 Valve Assembly on the lubrication and testing group with the 5P6578 Valve Assembly in the new hole in the drum cover. Assembly hoses and fittings which were removed earlier.
