Installation Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to support torque converter (10). Position torque converter (10). The weight of torque converter (10) is approximately 193 kg (425 lb). Install bolts (12) .
Install bracket (11). Install elbow (13) .

Install tube assemblies (9). Connect hose assembly (8) .

Connect hose assembly (7) and hose assembly (6) .

Connect harness assembly (4). Install bolts (3) .
Connect hose assembly (2) and hose assembly (5) .

Install floorplates (1) .
Check the transmission system oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission System Oil Level - Check".End By:
Install the bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard - Install".
Install the torque converter outlet relief valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve - Install".
Install the main drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
