Which Generate This Code:This diagnostic code is shown when the AccuGrade - Grade Control System display reads the voltage of the circuit as being below normal.Note: This condition may occur on start-up of the machine.System Response:When this diagnostic code occurs, low voltage is observed at the display.Test Step 1. VERIFY THAT THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE IS ACTIVEPress the "OK/Right Reset" Button on the display in order to acknowledge the error and clear the error from the screen.Expected Result:Diagnostic code "CB 11"is no longer active. Results:
YES - Diagnostic code "CB 11" is no longer active. Cranking the engine at start-up may have caused the code to be generated.STOP
NO - Diagnostic code "CB 11" is still active. Proceed to Test Step 2.Test Step 2. CHECK THE WIRE HARNESS
Turn the "Power/Setup" Switch on the display to the "OFF" position.
Turn the key start switch for the machine to the "OFF" position.
Disconnect the wire harness from the display at connector "AR-C1".
Install a jumper wire between pin "5" and pin "6" on the harness connector.
Turn the key start switch for the machine to the RUN position.
Measure the voltage between pin "1" and pin "6" on the wire harness.Expected Result:The voltage that was measured between pin "1" and pin "6" is machine voltage. Results:
YES - Voltage that was measured between pin "1" and pin "6" is machine voltage. Proceed to test step 3.
NO - Voltage that was measured between pin "1" and pin "6" is not machine voltage. Proceed to test step 4.Test Step 3. CHECK THE DISPLAY
Place the "Power/Setup" Switch on the display in the "ON " position.
Measure the resistance between pin "1" and pin "5" on the connector that is located on the "display".Expected Result:The resistance measurement between pin "1" and pin "5" is less than 5 Ohms. Results:
YES - The resistance measurement between pin "1" and pin "5" is less than 5 Ohms. Proceed to test step 4.
NO - The resistance measurement between pin "1" and pin "5" is greater than 5000 Ohms.Repair: The display is faulty. Replace the display.STOPTest Step 4. CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY MODULE
Access the power module. Disconnect the "8 pin" connector from the main harness of the power module.
Place a jumper between pins "E", "F" and "Ground" on Connector B of the power module .
Measure the voltage between each of the following pins:
"A" and "B"
"C" and "D"
"G" and "H"Expected Result:The voltage that is measured between each set of contacts on the connector for the power module is machine voltage. Results:
YES - The voltage that is measured between each of the pins is machine voltage.Repair: Repair the wire harness or replace the wire harness.STOP
NO - The voltage that is measured between each of the pins is not machine voltage.Repair: Replace the power supply.STOP
