Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Follow the recommended procedure for removal and installation of tires and or wheel assemblies.Ensure that the machine and tire and or wheel assembly are properly supported at all times.Improper procedures that are used to remove and install tires and or wheel assemblies can result in personal injury or death.

Typical Example
Use Tooling (B) in order to chock the rear tires, as shown.

Position Tooling (A) under the machine, as shown.
Use Tooling (A) in order to raise tire and rim assembly (2) off the ground.

Attach a suitable lifting device onto tire and rim assembly (2).
Remove nuts (1).
Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove tire and rim assembly (2). The weight of tire and rim assembly (2) is approximately 3175 kg (7000 lb). Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device onto tire and rim assembly (2), as shown.
Use the suitable lifting device in order to install tire and rim assembly (2). The weight of tire and rim assembly (2) is approximately 3175 kg (7000 lb).
Install nuts (1). Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft).

Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the machine to the ground.
Remove Tooling (A).
