The Technical Information Bulletin dated November 11,1986 same component code as this bulletin refers to all models wheel loaders.However the information contained in the 1986 bulletin does not apply to the wheel loader models 960F and 970F.Solution:
The design of the 960F and 970F loaders is different from other loaders. On the 960F and 970F the bucket rack stops are supposed to make contact with the lift arms at the "carry position" while on other loaders there is a gap (please refer to the 1986 bulletin).The reason for this difference in design is to provide an interference fit and prevent the bucket from shaking ("carry position") at high machine speeds on load and carry applications.
