Information:
At operating temperature, the oil in the power train is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the breather filter cap when the engine is stopped and the breather cap is cool enough to touch by hand.Slowly loosen the breather filter cap in order to release any pressure in the oil tank. Be careful of hot hydraulic oil when any lines are disconnected from the components of the power train.
The space between the body and the frame becomes a zero clearance area when the body is lowered. Failure to install the retaining cable can result in injury or death to personnel working in this area.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace the O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.Note: Lubricate the O-ring seals with the fluid that is being sealed.Note: Clean the mating surfaces of the transmission and the differential housing.

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device in order to install transmission and transfer gears (9) . The weight of transmission and transfer gears (9) is approximately 1960 kg (4321 lb).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position gear pump (10) . The weight of gear pump (10) is approximately 39 kg (85 lb).
Install bolts (11) . Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).
