Remove the drive shaft (rear).
Remove the tire and rim (rear).

Remove nut (2) and bolt (3). Disconnect hose assembly (1).
Remove tube assembly (4).
Disconnect tube assembly (5).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to oscillating axle (7). The weight of oscillating axle (7) is approximately 1200 kg (2646 lb).

Remove nuts (9) and washers (8) from the front trunnion support.

Remove nuts (10) and washers (11) from the rear trunnion support.

Typical example
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device to lower oscillating axle (7) onto Tooling (B). Remove the suitable lifting device from oscillating axle (7). Use Tooling (B) to move oscillating axle (7) from under the machine.Installation Procedure
Install the oscillating axle in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten nuts (9) and (10) to a torque of 475 60 N.m (350 44 lb ft).
