HOSE AS 2246838 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the pressure from the brake system by making several brake applications with the foot brakes until brake pressure gauge shows zero pressure.
Do not loosen or remove any oil lines from the accumulator charging valve until the brake pressure is zero.
2. Remove the floor plate from over the accumulator charging valve. 3. Disconnect the linkage from the pedal and plate assembly. Remove the bolts that fasten the pedal and plate assembly to the frame. Remove the pedal and plate assembly.4. Remove the front inspection plate.5. Disconnect the oil lines from the accumulator charging valve.6. Remove the bolts and nuts (2) that fasten the valve to the support bracket.7. Remove accumulator charging valve (1).Install Accumulator Charging Valve
1. Put the accumulator charging valve into position on the support bracket.2. Install the bolts and nuts that fasten the valve to the support bracket.3. Connect the oil lines to the accumulator charging valve.4. Install the front inspection plate.5. Put the pedal and plate assembly into position and install the bolts that fasten the assembly to the frame.6. Disconnect the linkage to the pedal and plate assembly.7. Install the floor plate.
