Troubleshooting Test Steps Values Results
1. Connect Cat Electronic Technician®
A. Run the automatic inverter service test using Cat Electronic Technician (Cat ET®). No CID codes present OK - There are not any faults or service codes present. The priming power supply is operating normally.
STOP
NOT OK - Cat ET indicates there are faults associated to the priming power supply. If there are transistor mismatch codes given at the end of the test, troubleshoot those first. Proceed to Step 2.
2. Verify bus voltage using Cat ET or the cab display.
A. Without starting the machine, place the keyswitch in the on position. The priming power supply should NOT be ON.
