3208 and 3304 Generator Sets With 363, 364, 365, 367, 368 443, 444, And 445 Frame GeneratorsReference: Special Instruction, "Installing Warning Films For Non-Metallic Generator Fans", SEHS9886-01.Description of Change: A new non-mettalic fan has been released for 360 and 440 frame generators with either the 3208 or 3304 engine. Force should not be applied to the fan blades to rotate the engine. Damage to the fan could occur. Instead, an engine turning tool should be used. Adaptable To: The new 111-6217 Non-Metallic Fan can directly replace the former 6L-6658 Fan which will remain a serviceable item. The new 111-6217 Non-Metallic Fan will be installed on 3208 and 3304 Generator Sets with the 363, 364, 365, 367, 368 443, 444, and 445 Frame Generators. The chart shows new fan effectivity in current production models. Use the 5P-7307 Turning Tool Group to rotate the engine. Two 7C-7319 Films (decals) should be affixed to the generator barrel which provide a warning not to rotate the engine using the non-metallic fan blades.
