SERVICE LETTER SUPPLEMENT FOR APRIL 3 1989 SL - PI1123 - NEW BRAKE PISTONS AND SEALS NEED TO BE INSTALLED IN CERTAIN 206, 212 EXCAVATORS

U-111 A-80 O-71 Some information needs to be changed in the Service Letter which follows: April 3, 1989 - PI1123; New Brake Pistons And Seals Need To Be Installed In Certain 206 and 212 Excavators In the attached rework procedure, remove pages 1 of 3 and 2 of 3. Insert the new pages 1 of 3 and 2 of 3, that are attached to this Supplement, where the others were removed. The note following Step 1 has been changed for clarification. Attach. (Rework Procedure pages 1 of 3 and 2 of 3) Rework Procedure 1. Follow the safety and disassembly and assembly procedures in the Service Manual to disassemble and assemble the final drives and brakes. Reference the Service Manual and the article in the Service Magazine dated October 26, 1987 for the correct tooling needed out of the 8T3202 and 8T3203 Service Tool Groups. 2.
