Equipment data may not properly process dealer initiated record changes in certain Cat® Product Link (PL) assets. Changes in ownership and customer numbers may not be processed properly in the back office, and the asset may be lost or in transition on a separate path from the intended action.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but a permanent repair has not been identified. As an interim action, dealers facing the issues related to registration or subscription of the device need to contact Caterpillar Dealer Solution Network (DSN) for further assistance.
