Problem
The clamps securing the 2V9416 Tube may loosen on certain 245B Excavators. Loosening of the clamps may result in an oil leak at the tube-to-flange joint.

Fabricate a 4E9644 Hose Assembly using the 2P6731 Stem Assembly, 2P6732 Stem Assembly, 5P0202 Hose (147 cm long), and 2-5P0477 Sleeves.
Disconnect the extreme RH 9V2230 Hose Assembly at the 2V9416 Tube Assembly. (5-9V2230 Hose Assemblies total) See Illustration 1.
Illustration 1Remove the 2-8K2665 Clamps and 8K4734 Bracket from the 1V2232 Support Assembly and the 2V9416 Tube Assembly.
Remove the 2V9416 Tube Assembly.
The 2V9416 Tube Assembly may be different to remove. It may be necessary to loosen or remove other lines in this group.
Install the 4E9643 Bar and 4E9642 Plate. Use 2-6V4432 Bolts, 4-8T4223 Washers, and 2-6V8188 Nuts. See Illustration 2.
Illustration 2Connect the 4E9644 Hose Assembly to the three stem control valve and to the 4E9642 Plate. Use a 1P3704 Seal, 2-1P5767 Flange-Halves, 4-8T4835 Bolts, and 4-8T4223 Washers to connect each end of the hose.
Connect the 9V2230 Hose Assembly to 4E9642 Plate Assembly. Use the existing bolts. Replace the 1P3705 Seal if necessary.
Check for hydraulic oil leaks. Check the oil level in the hydraulic tank.

This is a 5-hour job.

Illustration 2Connect the 4E9644 Hose Assembly to the three stem control valve and to the 4E9642 Plate. Use a 1P3704 Seal, 2-1P5767 Flange-Halves, 4-8T4835 Bolts, and 4-8T4223 Washers to connect each end of the hose.
Connect the 9V2230 Hose Assembly to 4E9642 Plate Assembly. Use the existing bolts. Replace the 1P3705 Seal if necessary.
Check for hydraulic oil leaks. Check the oil level in the hydraulic tank.
