After installation, bore in the rocker arm bushing for rocker shaft is 40.065 0.015 mm (1.5774 0.0006 inch).
Bore in the valve rocker arm for rocker shaft is 40.065 0.015 mm (1.5774 0.0006 inch).
- - - Inlet valve lash setting is 0.38 0.08 mm (0.015 0.003 inch).
Exhaust valve lash setting is 0.76 0.08 mm (0.030 0.003 inch).

4 24 356-5212 Bolt Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts for the rocker arm:
Before assembly, lubricate the threads and shaft to bolt interface with clean engine oil.
Refer Illustration 3 for bolt tightening sequence.
1. Tighten the bolts in 2, 3, 1, 4 sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
2. Re-tighten the bolts in 2, 3, 1, 4 sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
3. Again, tighten the bolts in 2, 3, 1, 4 sequence to an additional angle of 60 5 degrees.
